The cutting-edge Revolution Apex Elite 3.0, an ultra-fast premium CT system capable of producing 2560 reconstructed slices, is the first of its kind in Vietnam, marking a new breakthrough in diagnostic imaging at Hong Ngoc General Hospital.
Hong Ngoc General Hospital and GE HealthCare have transferred Vietnam’s first 2560-slice CT technology.
The high-resolution imaging technology enhances 3D detail, minimizing the risk of missed injuries and improving diagnostic accuracy. The system fully integrates artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically detect and precisely locate blood vessels while tracking drug flow variations in the body. It can also measure concentrations of over 25 substances with high sensitivity, detecting micro-lesions as small as 0.23mm, even before symptoms become apparent.

One of the system's key advantages is its smart spectral technology, which reduces radiation doses by up to 96%, minimizing X-ray impact on the body and ensuring long-term health protection. This is especially beneficial for patients requiring frequent CT scans, such as cancer patients or children with weak immune systems.
With its outstanding advancement, the 2560-slice CT technology greatly assists doctors in quickly and early detecting a variety of dangerous disease conditions, providing accurate diagnoses even for hard-to-reach areas of the body and enabling timely treatment for patients.
The technology transfer ceremony was held with the presence of representatives from the U.S. Consulate.
